One farmer who used the system across two dairy farms is Andrew Claxton who converted his farm in Stradbally to Calor Gas water heaters a couple of years ago and more recently has installed the same system in a dairy farm in New Ross;
The Calor Rinnai system produces a reliable, instant and infinite supply of hot water on demand, providing temperatures of up to 85°C instantly, minimising the need for chemical detergent use on dairy farms. It’s more efficient too as water is only heated when it’s required so hot water storage costs are eliminated.
Calor’s telemetry system also ensures that farm’s never run short on gas, as a gauge continuously monitors gas levels.
Do you have a robotic milking system?
Voluntary milking systems (VMS) require instant hot water at 85 degrees on demand. Calor is the ONLY energy provider at present that can provide and guarantee that. If you're interested in learning more contact us today or visit our farming section to learn more.
