Join us to drive the energy transition in Ireland.
Established in 1937, we are a leading supplier of off-grid LPG and Bio LPG to homes and businesses across the island of Ireland. Sustainability is at the heart of Calor’s business strategy. Our ambition is to be a supplier of 100% renewable fuels by 2037, our centenary year. The company is well on the way to achieving its ambition of a 25% reduction in our carbon emissions by 2025.
We employ over 300 staff across 9 sites located throughout the island of Ireland serving over 50,000 customers across residential and industrial commercial sectors. We conduct our business based on the principles of health, safety, integrity and with care for our people and the environment. We want to make a real difference for our customers and the communities that we serve. We want to make our operations sustainable, as well as contribute positively to the global climate change agenda.
Here at Calor we proudly share our purpose, core values and ambitions with our parent company SHV.
We will achieve our purpose through our people. Our people are at the centre of everything we do.
The health, safety and wellbeing of our colleagues will always be our highest priority as a business. We must aspire to nothing less than a ‘zero incident’ culture.
The CARE programme is a global programme designed embed a more holistic and preventative approach to health and safety into our day-to-day processes. It aims to help make health and safety a conscious and active consideration, and to empower colleagues to play a supportive role in caring for each other.

As a company, we want to make a positive difference in Ireland. Our Charity Programme gives our colleagues the chance to support a cause close to our hearts and benefits the local communities where we work and live. Our current charity partner is Samaritans and was chosen by our employees across the island of Ireland. We understand the pressures people are under, and strongly believe Samaritans make a real difference to many people’s lives. We are proud to support Samaritans through various fundraising initiatives amongst our teams to encourage engagement.
