Casey's keeping Calor's flame burning bright in South West Kerry

For 80 years, people the length and breadth of Ireland have relied on Calor to heat their homes and for gas for cooking.  As Calor mark this milestone birthday, they are also celebrating the local retailers associated with the company.  In South West Kerry, when people think Calor, chances are they think of Casey Cycles & Gas Supplies.

Casey Cycles & Gas Supplies has been part of life in South West Kerry for almost 60 years. Casey Cycles & Gas Supplies started life as a bicycle repair shop. Paddy Casey set up the business in the late 1950’s, having spent some time learning his trade as a bicycle and motorbike mechanic. In the early 1970’s Paddy became a Calor stockist and hasn’t looked back. Today, Casey Cycles & Gas Supplies, now run by Eamonn, Paddy’s son, is as much about providing quality customer service, products and accessories to its bike customers as it is its gas customers.

Eamonn is a Registered Gas Installer, and has been supplying customers in the community with gas for over 20 years.

“Calor is always recognised by our customers as a safe and reliable product. We deliver Calor products to homes and businesses all around South West Kerry throughout the week and as a result our connection with our customers is extremely important to us, we know 99% of our customers, and if we don’t know them we get to know them.”

Now in its second generation, Casey Cycles & Gas Supplies should be part of the South West Kerry landscape, as a Calor dealer, for many years to come.
