All the fun – and energy - of the farm at the Energy in Agriculture Event in Gurteen

Calor Trailer and staff at the Energy in Agriculture Event

The Energy in Agriculture Event returned for the fourth year on 20th August 2019. The event showcased and highlighted the best in practice for renewable energy and energy-efficiency farming options for agricultural businesses across Ireland. Calor were once again proud to attend this important event.

Taking place among the rolling hills of Tipperary, people turned out in their droves. The event, which is the largest renewable energy event for farming in Ireland, took place at the Gurteen Agricultural College. Attendees on the day heard from industry and expert speakers offering practical advice, panel discussions and demonstrations.

Calor representatives were on hand to showcase our wide range of energy solutions and the main attraction at the Calor exhibition trailer was the Rinnai water heater demo unit. The system which runs on LPG, is extremely cost effective, economical, flexible and quick to use. LPG systems can be tailored to meet the needs of your farm. Unlike many others, they can be used indoors or outdoors.

The system is modular, so it can also be scaled up or down, depending on your needs. Calor have recently launched BioLPG, a new renewable form of propane gas that reduces carbon emissions by up to 90%. BioLPG is identical in appearance, performance and application to conventional LPG making the transition from LPG to BioLPG totally seamless. Calor are delighted to make farming with gas even more sustainable.

Calor has a long relationship with the Irish agriculture community and as always, our energy advisors were delighted to attend the event to meet our valuable customers and answer any questions on our wider range of energy solutions for the farming sector.
