CATEX 2021
Calor supports the Foodservice and Hospitality Sector at CATEX

Ireland's premier foodservice trade event – CATEX – returns to the RDS in Dublin from the 2nd to 4th November 2021. Calor is extremely proud to be a lead co-sponsor of the ‘must-attend’ event for foodservice and hospitality professionals.

Those attending the trade event will enjoy a range of world-class competitions, including the Irish Barista Championships and National Pizza Championships, as visitors will have the unique opportunity to get up close and personal with the very best in the sector. Attendees can visit the Irish Producers’ Village and a new CATEX recruitment hub that has been created to help address the staff shortages in hospitality.

The return of CATEX is a welcome signal from across industry at a time when businesses within the hospitality and foodservice industries are focused on rebuilding. As businesses look at recovery, Calor is behind businesses all the way.

Oliver Kenny, Chief Commercial Officer of Calor Ireland said: “Calor is delighted to be part of the team welcoming CATEX back to the real world and we can’t wait to see everyone in the industry face to face.  Our sponsorship of CATEX is an important demonstration of our belief in the catering industry across the island.  We will also be showing this support with a range of offers available at the event.”

Calor representatives will be on hand to showcase our wide range of energy solutions, with a particular focus on sustainable conscious products offerings, including Calor BioLPG. Calor BioLPG is a 100% renewable energy choice for businesses who want greater flexibility and to reduce their carbon emissions. BioLPG is identical in appearance and performance to conventional LPG. It is used for the same applications and equipment and is transported and stored in the same tanks.

Kenny added: “With the increased emphasis on sustainability and low carbon energy, Calor’s focus at CATEX 21 will be on helping businesses to transition to a more sustainable energy solution, with Calor lower-carbon and renewable gas products.”

Calor has a long relationship with the Foodservice and Hospitality Sector across the island of Ireland, and as always, our energy advisors are delighted to attend the event to meet our valuable customers and answer any questions on our wider range of energy solutions for the sector.
