Terms & Conditions (ROI/NI) 

1. These Terms and Conditions of Calor Teoranta, trading as Calor Gas, Calor Ireland, and Calor Kosangas (“Calor”)/Calor Gas Northern Ireland Limited, together (“Calor”), apply to domestic customers who purchase or refill a Calor cylinder between the 7th September and 13th October 2023 from an approved Calor Dealer in Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland (“the Entrant”) and wish to participate in the Holiday Voucher Competition 2023 (the “Competition”).

2. In order to take part in the Competition, the Entrant must:

  • be a domestic customer i.e. a customer who is purchasing the product for residential purposes only;
    purchase or refill a Calor cylinder between the 7th September 2023 and 13th October 2023;
  • upload a receipt as proof of purchase by scanning an instore QR code and following the online instructions (the QR code is also available via Calor’s Facebook, Instagram, Tiktok and Linkedin pages);
  • be aged 18 years or over; and
  • be a resident in the Republic of Ireland of Northern Ireland.

3. Where the Entrant satisfies the conditions of the Competition set out at Clause 1 & 2 above, they will be entered into a prize draw where one Entrant will win a Frosch Ireland holiday voucher worth €5000/£4500 (“the Primary Prize”) and ten Entrants will win a holiday giftcard worth €50/£50 (“the Secondary Prizes”) (hereinafter together referred to as the “Prizes” ).

4.The Prizes shall be valid for five years from the date they are issued and are subject to the terms and conditions of Frosch Ireland, the supplier of the Prizes to Calor, and which can be found below. Calor shall not be responsible for any matter arising out of or resulting from the Competition or enjoyment of the Prizes.

5.Only one entry to the Competition is available per Entrant and any claims relating to subsequent entries will not be valid.

6. The Primary Prize winning Entrant and the Secondary Prize winning Entrants will be selected at random by draws conducted by Calor and will be notified by phone or email on the 20th October 2023.

7. All gas installations must be installed and certified to conform to the requirements of [Irish Standard 820 Non-Domestic Gas Installations/ Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004], current Building Regulations and appliance manufacturer’s installation instructions.

8. Save for death or personal injury Calor will not be liable for any loss (including economic loss) suffered to or sustained by any person or property as a result of any act or omission of Calor, nor will their servants or their agents in developing, planning and administrating the Competition, distributing the Prizes to the winning Entrant or following the distribution of the Prize; Calor accepts no liability for errors or omissions contained within the details, descriptions or specifications of the Prizes. It is the responsibility of each Entrant (and in particular the Winning Entrants) to satisfy themselves as to the accuracy of any such details.

9. The Prize is non-transferable and cannot be refunded or exchanged. There is no monetary cash value offered.

10. The Competition is subject to availability and may be withdrawn or changed by Calor at any time and without notice.

11.  The Competition will begin on 7th of September 2023 and ends on 13th of October 2023.

12. Purchase is necessary to enter the Competition.

13. Calor is not responsible for lost, corrupted or delayed entries.

14. Calor reserves the right to withdraw, cancel, suspend or amend the Competition or the terms and conditions of the Competition, with no liability to any Entrant, the Winning Entrants or any third party. By accepting the Prize, each Winning Entrant grants the promoters the right to use and publish his/her name and picture in such media as Calor may choose (including but not limited to the internet) for advertising and promotional purposes without payment. The name and county of the prize-winner will be displayed on the Calor’s Facebook page, Instagram account, Tiktok account, LinkedIn page and/or X (formally Twitter) account for a reasonable period of time after the prize-winner has been selected.

15. A Calor employee and/or a Calor third party contractor and/or any member of a Calor employee’s immediate and or extended family and/or a Calor third party contractor’s immediate and or extended family are excluded from ever availing of these terms and conditions. 

16. Calor will make use of and process the personal data you provide in connection with the Competition to the extent and for the time necessary to administer this Competitionand all processing will be in accordance with Calor’s Data Privacy Notice which you can view at https://www.calorgas.ie/privacy. By participating in the Competition, you consent to the processing of your personal data in this manner.

17. The Competition and these terms and conditions are governed by Irish Law. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Competition shall be dealt with exclusively by the Courts of Ireland.

18. Republic of Ireland: Calor Gas is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers in compliance with its obligations under the Data Protection Acts 1988 to 2018 and General Data Protection Regulation (Regulation (EU) 2016/679).

Northern Ireland: Calor Gas is committed to protecting the privacy of its customers in compliance with its obligations under the UK Data Protection Act 2018, the UK General Data Protection Regulation (“UKGDPR”) and any legislation in Northern Ireland to implement the UKGDPR, to administer your account and to provide our services and products.
