A Taste of West Cork Leaves Calor Truly Satisfied

Calor is delighted to have sponsored the Street Market at the 2018 “A Taste of West Cork Food Festival”. The market took place on Sunday the 16th of September, from 12 – 4pm in Skibbereen, County Cork, on the closing day of the festival.  The market is the grand finale of the whole festival. 

“A Taste of West Cork” ran from the 7th to the 16th of September, celebrating the food and producers of West Cork and uniting everyone who is passionate about food. The festival is the culmination of a unique mix of food markets, demonstrations, competitions, music, dinners, brunches, food-tastings, talks, exhibitions and children's events. This year over 230 events taking place in 36 towns, and Calor was delighted to play a part in bringing the special event to life.

The Street Market, which was sponsored by Calor, showcased the fantastic produce of local traders. Calor provided a cooking unit, which was used in cooking demonstrations by some of the most impressive chefs in the country using Calor LPG to cook. 

Delicious dishes by local traders were enjoyed by food fanatics against the backdrop of fantastic music played by local bands. Calor supported local traders at the event by providing them with 3,000 shopping bags and goodie bags.
