Terms & Conditions (ROI/NI) – The Big Calor Giveaway 2025
1. These Terms and Conditions of Calor Teoranta, trading as Calor Gas, Calor Ireland, and Calor Kosangas (“Calor”)/Calor Gas Northern Ireland Limited, together (“Calor”), apply to domestic customers in the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland (“the Entrant”) who wish to participate in the Big Calor Giveaway 2025 (the “Competition”).
2. To participate in the Competition, the Entrant must:
a. Be a domestic customer purchasing products for residential purposes only;
b. Enter online via Calor’s website or in-store by scanning a QR code displayed at participating Calor dealers, and following the instructions;
c. Be aged 18 years or over; and
d. Be a resident of the Republic of Ireland or Northern Ireland.
3. Prizes available to win:
o 25 Calor Heaters – 1 per winner.
o 15 Calor Winter Goodie Boxes – containing seasonal treats and Calor-branded items.
o 9Calor Energy Prizes – 1 per winner of free gas vouchers or a new gas cooking appliance.
o 1 Luxury Getaway Voucher (€750/£750) – overnight stay for two at a premium Irish hotel. Subject to the hotel’s own T&Cs.
4. Only one entry per Entrant is permitted. Multiple entries by the same person will not be valid.
5. Winners will be drawn across four dates:
oFriday 8th November – 12 winners announced
oFriday 15th November- 12 winners announced
oFriday 5th December- 13 winners announced
oFriday 12th December- 12 winners announced
oMonday 15th December- 1 grand prize winner announced
Winners will be notified by phone or email.
6. Calor shall not be responsible for any matter arising from the Competition or enjoyment of the Prizes.
7. All gas appliances must be installed and certified in accordance with Irish Standard 820, Gas Safety Regulations (NI) 2004, current Building Regulations, and appliance manufacturer’s instructions.
8. Calor is not responsible for warranties, defects, or maintenance of any appliances provided as prizes. Winners are responsible for following manufacturer instructions for safe use.
9. Save for death or personal injury, Calor will not be liable for any loss or damage arising from participation in the Competition or use of the Prizes.
10. Prizes are non-transferable, have no cash value, and cannot be exchanged or refunded.
11. The Competition is subject to availability and may be amended, suspended, or withdrawn at any time without notice.
12. Calor is not responsible for lost, delayed, or corrupted entries.
13. By accepting a Prize, winners consent to the use of their name and image for advertising and promotional purposes. This consent is voluntary and may be withdrawn by contacting marketingdepartment@calorgas.ie.
14. Calor employees, contractors, or their immediate/extended families are excluded from entering.
15. Calor will process personal data provided for administering the Competition in accordance with its Data Privacy Notice: https://www.calorgas.ie/privacy.
16. The Competition and these Terms & Conditions are governed by Irish law. Any disputes will be dealt with exclusively by the Courts of Ireland.
17. Privacy:
• Republic of Ireland: Calor complies with the Data Protection Acts 1988–2018 and GDPR (EU 2016/679).
• Northern Ireland: Calor complies with the UK Data Protection Act 2018, UK GDPR, and related legislation.
18. Competition dates: 3rd November 2025 – 15th December 2025.
