Roasting Responsibly: Btwenty7 Coffee’s Commitment to Sustainability in Every Sip

Conor had a love for great coffee and a strong sense of purpose rooted in family - something he shared closely with his wife, Paula, who played a key role in supporting and shaping the journey from the very beginning. They took a chance on something small, and thanks to community support and word of mouth, it started to grow. What began at a bus stop has since become a well-loved local brand, with two cafés in Enniscorthy, another in Bunclody, and drive-thrus now open in Waterford, New Ross, and Wexford.
In 2025, the team took a big step forward with the launch of their own coffee roasting facility back in Enniscorthy. For Conor and Paula, it wasn’t just about growing the business - it was about doing it right.

The name Btwenty7 itself is personal - it was inspired by the birthdate of their son, a reminder of what really matters as the business grows. Every choice, from the beans they source to the energy they use, comes back to that sense of responsibility.
Roasting coffee well takes precision and consistent heat, so finding the right energy source for their new facility was crucial. After weighing up their options, Btwenty7 chose Calor BioLPG, a renewable gas that delivers the same reliable performance as conventional LPG, but with lower carbon emissions.

Today, Btwenty7 continues to grow with a clear sense of purpose: to serve great coffee, support their community, and build a more sustainable future - one cup at a time.
