Cylinder Supply

Calor Gas cylinders are specially made to store LPG in its liquid state, under moderate pressure, until used. Cylinders come in two types – propane and butane. Propane performs best at low temperatures, allowing it to be stored outdoors all year round, and is available in a variety of red, green or grey cylinders (sizes: Patio Gas, 11kg, 34kg and 47kg).

Butane performs best at a temperature of 10 degrees Celsius, making it more suitable for indoor use, and only suitable for outdoor use during summer months. Butane cylinders are either yellow or blue, and come in the following sizes: 1kg, 4.5kg, 5kg and 11.34kg.

The ranges of butane and propane cylinders above are available from your local Calor Gas stockist. 47kg propane cylinders can also be supplied to your home, no matter where you live, by Calor’s nationwide delivery service. Thanks to Calor, the concern of running out of gas on a cylinder supply can easily be avoided. With the Calor switch over system, a regulator can be installed on a 4-cylinder supply. This system uses two cylinders at a time, switching over to the remaining two – and indicating as much – when the first two run out. This gives you plenty of time to order new cylinders – or pick some up from your local retailer – while still running on an ample supply.
