New method of payment for annual standing charge
Currently we send a separate invoice detailing the annual standing charge, following customer research we now have the facility to calculate the standing charge at a daily rate.
This will mean that instead of paying in advance customers will now pay the standing charge in arrears and only for the number of days since the last bill.
This new billing method will give customers the benefit of spreading the cost over the year.
If it is more than 12 months since your last gas bill customers will receive a separate standing charge invoice for the previous year.
This new invoicing method will commence on the anniversary of your last standing charge invoice.
Standing Charge
Calor take responsibility for all statutory and routine maintenance of the equipment provided at your development.
The standing charge is a contribution to the ongoing costs associated with providing a safe and secure network and include the following:
- Calor Installation and Maintenance department operate a nationwide team of qualified maintenance personnel to carry out necessary maintenance as appropriate
- When making a gas delivery to your estate, the Calor driver carries out a general safety inspection of the tank(s) and it fittings.
- All Calor tanks are tested and maintained in accordance with the requirements of EN regulations and National Standards.
- Regulatory testing, requalification and routine maintenance of equipment.
- Product and liability insurance
- 24 hour emergency response
- Technical advice service
